Data centers and the quantum breakthrough

Zenon continues its study on the data center lifecycle. Following an Innovation Morning organized in partnership with the Bouygues Group, which provided insights on how to reconcile data center growth with sustainability requirements—from construction to end-of-life—and a subsequent dialogue focused on infrastructure operations, specifically the challenge of data center cooling, Zenon invites you to explore one of the likely futures for data centers. A future where the technological building blocks of photonic quantum computers could lead data centers toward higher performance and, likely, lower energy consumption.

In this upcoming dialogue, following a brief introduction by Jean-Baptiste Dupin, Zenon’s Chief Scientific Officer, on the stakes and challenges of quantum computing for the energy transition of data centers, we will hear from Alexis Jonville, CEO of Lumisync, and David Fainsin, CEO of Qluster, two startups developing essential technological components for integrating photonic quantum computers into data centers. They will share their vision, the deployment prospects for quantum technologies, and their energy impact.
